Why this city? Simple. Long Beach was the first city in California to have, at the turn of the last century, an operational silent film studio. While the Queen Mary has transported and entertained many of Hollywood's Golden Age cinematic luminaries, including: Bob Hope, Laurel and Hardy, Gloria Swanson, Clark Gable, and many more.
